Mass Liberation AZ Unsolicited Media Policy

Definition: “Unsolicited Media” means any image, audio recording, video file, or other recording; any live-transmitted audio and/or video content; and/or any text, communication, or other document received by Mass Liberation Arizona that it did not specifically request or solicit. This policy applies to all Unsolicited Media received by Mass Liberation Arizona (including its employees, volunteers, and advisory board members), whether by email, social media, the Mass Liberation Arizona website, phone, text messaging, encrypted messaging applications, messaging applications, mail, in-person, or any other means.

Policy: It is the policy of Mass Liberation Arizona to destroy any Unsolicited Media within 48 business hours of receipt. Mass Liberation Arizona does not retain copies of Unsolicited Media in any form, whether electronic or physical. Hard copies (whether paper or other physical medium) of Unsolicited Media will be destroyed by shredding or by fire. Any electronic records of Unsolicited Media, including any and all potential backups, will be deleted by Mass Liberation Arizona.

Unsolicited Media are not business records, and are not covered by Mass Liberation Arizona’s document retention policy, or those of its fiscal sponsor.
